International Thespian Society

Prosper Theatre is proud to be home to International Thespian Society Troupe 6800, the honor society for theatre students. The International Thespian Society (ITS) recognizes student achievement in all areas of theatre including performance, design, technical work, and leadership.

Our troupe participates in events such as Troupe Day and the Texas Thespian Festival where students attend workshops, perform, compete, and connect with theatre students from across the state. At Festival, students are able to compete in Individual Events (I.E.’s) such as monologues, technical challenges, and musical theatre, as well as audition for colleges and scholarships.

Prosper Theatre students become eligible for induction into ITS by earning 10 Thespian points, which is the equivalent of 100 hours of theatre work. Inductions are held each May during our annual Prosper Theatre Banquet where new members are officially welcomed into Troupe 6800.
